Shake Shack to Open New Hong Kong Location With an Exclusive Concrete Flavor
“Tung Chung Pop Trail” will be accompanied by the limited-time-only Avocado Bacon menu.
Continuing its expansion throughout Asia, Shake Shack is now set to open its seventh Hong Kong location. Setting up at the Citygate Outlets in Tung Chung, the new 3,921 sq ft space is decorated with a mural by local artist Bo Law, the display draws from the surrounding natural landscape a classic Flying Chess board game.
The new Tung Chung location will offer an exclusive new concrete flavor, “Tung Chung Pop Trail.” The sweet treat features vanilla frozen custard blended with salted caramel sauce, peanut butter and Shan Shau Jok peanut brittle topped with caramel popcorn. It is interesting to note that 5% of sales from the Tung Chung Pop Trail concrete will go towards the InspiringHK Sports Foundation on an ongoing basis, as part of Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good®.
The opening will also launch the limited-time-only Avocado Bacon menu (available May 9-15). The Avocado Bacon Burger is a classic cheeseburger topped with freshly sliced avocado, applewood-smoked bacon, and ShackSauce. While the Avocado Bacon Chicken features crispy chicken with freshly sliced avocado, applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, pickles and buttermilk herb mayo.
To mark the opening of the Shake Shack Hong Kong Tung Chung location, the first 100 fans in line when doors open May 9, 12 p.m. HKT will receive an exclusive Citygate Shack tote bag and T-shirt. Check out the Tung Chung Pop Trail concrete and limited-time-only Avocado Bacon menu above.
