This Year's Converse Pride Collection Celebrates "Found Family"

Nike has released its Converse Pride collection for 2022, this year surrounding the theme of “Found Family.”
For the collection, the shoes will arrive in various silhouettes including the Converse Run Star Motion, the Chuck 70 Hi, the Chuck Taylor Hi and Lift Ox, the One Star and the All Star Slide, all to celebrate individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. The sneakers within the Converse Pride Collection 2022 are unified with thematic graphics that highlight diversity. Rainbow graphics as well as fluid lines aim to highlight Pride throughout the accompanying apparel, headwear and shoe collection.
According to Nike and Converse By You, fans can personalize their own shoes with “the ‘All Star’ patch, license plate, and laces – inspired by pride, bisexual, pan-sexual, lesbian, non-binary, and transgender, and unity flags for a more inclusive take on personal expression.” Alongside the release of the collection, Converse is unveiling a digital campaign titled, “Found Family” to showcase over 50 stories across the LGBTQIA+ community told through letters, audio clips, photographs, art and more. In association with Converse, Richie Shazam is releasing a film that tells the story of her Found Family, set to premiere during the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
