Kendrick Lamar Earns First No. 1 on Hot R&B Songs Chart With "Die Hard"
Marking the Compton rapper’s 11th overall appearance on the chart.
Kendrick Lamar has landed his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B songs chart with “Die Hard,” featuring Blxst and Amanda Reifer.
“Die Hard” earned a total of 27 million official U.S streams in its first week, which ended on May 19. The song holds the second-best count from the his latest 18-track albu, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, with first being “N95” with a staggering total stream of 37.2 million.
This is K-Dot’s 11th overall appearance on Hot the R&B Songs chart, and also gives Blxst and Amanda Reifer their first Hot R&B Songs chart-topper. The song currently sits at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Elsewhere in music, Young Thug’s lyrics will be used in court against him.
