Here's an In-Depth Look at the Air Jordan 1 "Friends & Family" PE Sample
Done up in a top-to-bottom chameleon outfit.
Earlier this year, Las Vegas Aces forward Dearica Marie gave everyone a glimpse at the player exclusive Air Jordan 1 “Friends & Family” pair that was gifted to all Jordan Brand athletes. English Sole just graced us with a closer look at a sample edition that boasts of an ever-changing color outfit giving off a full top-to-bottom chameleon vibe.
With only 80 pairs made, the PE design opted for a Teal tumble leather base that can seem like a Midnight Blue hue changing into Lime Green while it may also appear more Teal with purple and blue tones in brighter settings. One can say it’s a combination of the AJ 1 Zoom “Fearless” and AJ 1 Retro High OG “All-Star” released back in 2017 in honor of the annual NBA event which was held in New Orleans. Black details such as the toe box, tongue, laces and main lateral Swoosh slightly tone down the design. Over a black rubber outsole, the handpainted midsole opts for the same makeup as the uppers with a textured pattern all throughout.
