$3 Million USD 1986 Michael Jordan Fleer Rookie Card Leads Christie's 'Six Rings – Legacy of the GOAT' Auction
Along with five career-defining sneakers.

Christie’s has just announced a new auction dedicated to Michael Jordan. Titled Six Rings – Legacy of the GOAT, the lot to lead the auction is a rare Michael Jordan autographed Upper Deck Fleer #57 Rookie Basketball Card. This card is estimated to sell in the $2 – $3 million USD range, and was obtained back in 2006 when those that pulled a Fleer 20th anniversary card were able to send the card in for a signed rookie from Jordan. Of the 23 cards released, only 14 are known to be graded.
On top of the card, five sneakers that are tied to important moments in Jordan’s career are part of the auction. One of the shoes, a game-worn pair of Low XIIIs from his final season with the Bulls, is dual signed and estimated to sell for $500,000 – $750,000 USD. Bidding will commence on June 1 – 14 and exhibited at Christie’s Rockefeller Center galleries from June 3 – 7.
