Release Info for Union LA's Air Jordan 2 "Future Is Now" Collection
Featuring the “Rattan” and “Grey Fog” colorways, slides and apparel.
Hot off the heels of completing the releases for its Dunk Low “Passport” Pack, Union LA is thrusting itself back into the spotlight to drop off its newest “Future Is Now” collection with Jordan Brand. Chris Gibbs and his team have opted to shine a light on the Air Jordan 2 for this collection, and have included collaborative slides and apparel to accompany them.
When tapped by the Beaverton-based sportswear giant for this capsule, Union was tasked to think about what a future utopia could look like and so it decided to highlight individuals and organizations based in LA that are working towards that. On the products front, the LA-based streetwear retailer has prepared the Air Jordan 2 “Grey Fog” and “Rattan” colorways inspired by flight jackets and pants and adorned with Union tabs. Crater Slides are also thrown into the mix, along with collaborative apparel that features nylon cardigans and pants, cozy pullover hoodies, crewnecks, sweatpants, tees, socks, shorts and hats.
Union LA will be releasing the kicks via raffle to LA residents only from April 9-April 10 from 9am-3pm EDT. Winners will be announced on April 10. Retail price for the kicks will be $225 USD.
