Emerging Hong Kong-based label The World Is Your Oyster recently unveiled its Fall/Winter 2022 collection. Inspired by the films of Wes Anderson, the seasonal range captures the romance and whimsy of the American director, screenwriter and producer.

Calvin Chan and Joyce Kun, the designers behind The World Is Your Oyster, specifically focussed on the films Moonrise Kingdom and The Royal Tenenbaums. Developing an in-depth study of the themes, characters, and colors of the movies expressed through contemporary garments with a retro flair. Utilizing premium textiles, the FW22 collection creates an understanding of the heightened reality and dramatic tensions integral to Anderson’s works. Pieces like blazers, vests, denim, wool styles and more showcase colliding patterns, saturated tones and exaggerated triangle collars.
