Stone Island Celebrates 40 Years of Innovation With "82/22" Capsule
Dressing archive garments in new experimental fabrics.

Following a heat reactive capsule revealed earlier this year, Stone Island returns to celebrate four decades of innovation with a new “82/22” capsule paying homage to the brand’s 1982 founding year. The collection features commemoratory “82/22” graphics across the back made with jacquard techniques in black polyester and cotton, and a shiny and transparent “PIATTINA 82/22” canvas fabric is introduced consisting of polyester monofilaments and flat nylon threads.
The PIATTINA materials make their way across a range of garment-dyed outwear pieces including Parkas and Bomber Jackets, and the 82/22 motifs are also applied throughout a series of sweatshirts, T-shirts, and cotton jersey shorts recreated from the archives in new Stone Island’s development lab fabrics.
The collection is now available from now until April 18 exclusively on the Stone Island app.
