Legacy skate brand Element Skateboards has teamed up with hall-of-fame hip-hop group Public Enemy for a retro “Bring the Noise” capsule inspired by the collective’s New York roots.

Arriving three years after the infamous Supreme x UNDERCOVER x Public Enemy collection, the upcoming series features a range of T-shirts, hoodies, polo shirts, bucket hats, socks, pouches, and skate decks emblazoned with the rap group’s signature green and black hues. Looks are styled off of the outfits worn by the Public Enemy crew in their most iconic music videos. Highlighting the collection is the Stencil Skateboard featuring a black brick wall background, co-branded logos, and the group’s target motif in spraypaint.

“The powers that be, want to move slow and keep you back and not understand that arts, culture, and athleticism are some things that can free you from your mind, free your soul, and free your body to actually enjoy this planet earth of where we were put to live connected as human beings to take care of this place,” said Public Enemy member Chuck D in an interview. “If that’s the case man, that’s why this is a fruitful relationship to help people. So we’d like to thank you all. Fight the power.

Through proceeds from the collaboration, Element will be donating to the Harold Hunter Foundation, named after the late skate legend Harold Hunter, which was founded in 2006 to support the
skateboarding youth of NYC.

“In the spirit of Public Enemy’s dedication to education and community empowerment, this partnership brings an incomparable group of like-minded people to the scene for a good cause and a celebration of three decades of skateboarding and music,” Element said in a statement.

The Public Enemy x Element Collection is now available on the Element website. Prices range from $12 USD for socks to $60 USD for the deck.
