'Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3' Has Been Announced

With the final episode of Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2, we have now learned that the story will continue with “Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3.” The announcement of the continuation was announced at the end of Episode 76 “Danzai” (“sentencing”).

Although not much is known about Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3 at the moment, Part 3 is being called the “kanketsu-hen” (“conclusion”) and is set to be aired by NHK in 2023.

Word of Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3 confirms fan theories that the 12 episodes of Part 2 could not complete the story. Fans that completed the original manga source material noted that Episode 87 would only cover up to Chapter 127, “Night of the End.” Hajime Sorayama Attack on Titan manga finished with 139 chapters.
