Nike Air Max 97 Releases an All-new Retro Iteration
Arriving in May.
Nike has released a new Air Max 97 pair for the upcoming summer, celebrating the silhouette’s 25th anniversary.
The shoe takes on a retro-themed construction, dressed in an amalgamation of materials including canvas, suede and mesh, paired with terry cloth lining. The silhouette takes on a retro-style color scheme arriving in a tan and gum hue. Retro Nike branding is seen on the heel pull tabs as well as insoles as additional detailing sitting atop of a translucent gum outsole.
The shoe is expected to release on May 21, 2022 for a retail price of $170 USD in select retailers and online at Nike.
