Meek Mild Crafts a VHS Tape Ceramic Vase
Referencing iconic hip-hop music videos and films.

Young South Korean label Meek Mild, which has collaborated with the likes of BALANSA and Sam By Pen for handmade plaster Dunk Lows and apparel, has now released a special-edition glazed ceramic vase modeled after a stack of VHS tapes.
The base consists of four black VHS tapes in a slightly staggered formation referencing iconic hip-hop music videos and films including Boyz n the Hood, Beastie Boys‘ Skills to Pay the Bills, Public Enemy‘s Fight The Power, and Belly starring Nas and DMX. A removable tape-shaped ceramic lid featuring a disclaimer from Meek Mild reading, “Please remember to rewind!” completes the themed offering.
The VHS Tape Ceramic from Meek Mild is now available on the brand’s website for ₩269,000 KRW (approximately $220 USD).
