Joe Freshgoods Unveils Upcoming New Balance 550 Collab
A new “Conversations Amongst Us” colorway.
New Balance 550 continues to prove that it is one of the most hyped shoes with constant surprise collaborations and colorways.
Designer Joe Freshgoods has taken to Instagram to reveal a new “Conversations Amongst Us” colorway. He first teased the collab last month in another post that showed just a shoe box that read, “Designed and curated by Joseph Robinson and a team of Black associates at New Balance.” Now, he has unveiled to fans what they can expect from the collaboration which sees a new iteration of the 550 in cream.
The color tone of the shoe gives the silhouette an aged and worn aesthetic. It is constructed with canvas and suede on the upper while the New Balance “N” logo is highlighted and outlined with black lines on the side of the shoes. The words “Conversations Amongst Us” is printed on the insole, emphasizing the collab. The design sits on the same cream outsole, giving the pair a retro look to round out the sneaker.
The New Balance “Conversations Amongst Us” series will be available on HBX from 9:00 PM EST on April 14.
