Staple's Crocs Sidewalk Luxe Classic Clog Is Fit for the Concrete Jungle
Featuring pigeon, chewing gum, sewer alligator and mice Jibbitzs.

Jeff Staple‘s eponymous label Staple rose to fame in 2005 when the legendary Nike Dunk Low Pro SB “Pigeon” was released with unparalleled amounts of frenzy, and since, Staple has witnessed a steady rise to the top of the streetwear tree. Now, Staple applies its signature aesthetic to a pair of shoes that, in many ways, has experienced its own craze in recent years — the Crocs classic clog.
Its full name — Staple x Crocs Sidewalk Luxe Classic Clog — hints at what inspirations have played a part in the collaborative design. Taking influence from the concrete jungles of today, specifically New York, Staple kits out the Crocs in a gray concrete-effect design before adorning it with plenty of custom Jibbitz™ charms.
Notably, the upper wears a large pigeon foot on either shoe, while a mouse, chewing gum, a cockroach, Staple-branded noodles, a sewer alligator, and a packet of faux matches are all available to help you customize your pair of Crocs. Elsewhere, we find Staple’s pigeon motif on the pink-hued bolt that keeps the heel piece in place, while Crocs branding on that very strap can be seen imprinted into the rubber.
Staple’s Crocs Sidewalk Luxe Classic Clog can be seen in the gallery above and is expected to drop at retailers such as atmos Tokyo on April 13, retailing for ¥ 9,900 JPY (approx. $79 USD).
Elsewhere, On has reworked the Cloudrunner sneaker.
