Wasted Paris SS22 Channels Your Inner Z-Boy
Inspired by Dogtown youth in California.

Wasted Paris is back for the Spring/Summer 2022 season with a collection that is inspired by the youth of Dogtown in California’s Venice neighborhood. Titled “Locals Only,” the collection specifically channels the ethos of Dogtown’s renowned Z-Boys skateboarding team.
Founders Xiang Fang Ye and Johann Liebel incorporate a 70s aesthetic over a range of garments including faux-leather jackets, sweater vests, quarter-zip pullovers, short-sleeved button-down shirts, coordinating sets, t-shirts and more. Menswear pieces feature a rather neutral color palette with shades of beige, black, white and brown, while womenswear pieces are cut with pops of color like flamingo, sky blue and electric green.
A highlight of the men’s offering is a black faux-leather jacket that features a rock-inspired Wasted Paris logo in red with a white spiderweb. Similar graphics are tossed across knitwear pieces and sweatsuits for a fusion of 70s skateboarding and grunge styles. Additionally, the collection sees the inclusion of new fabrics like cotton-canvas, denim and faux-leather.
From the new collection, Wasted Paris has plans to introduce its first capsule in organic cotton in partnership with Surf Rider Foundation. All of the proceeds will be fully donated to the foundation to further ocean preservation education.
