Sony is reportedly releasing its own version of Microsoft‘s Xbox Game Pass for the PlayStation in the near future.

According to a new report from Bloomberg, the Japanese gaming giant is gearing up to compete against Microsoft’s popular service with a subscription plan named “Spartacus.” Sources suggest that it could come as early as next week and combines both access to PlayStation Now games as well as online features from PlayStation Plus, launching with a “splashy” roster of recent titles, although they also highlight that it probably won’t feature day-one access like many of Game Pass’ games.

Unfortunately, no new information has surfaced this time around regarding the subscription plans Sony will be offering, but the outlet previously reported that Spartacus will feature three separate tiers for fans. The lowest Essential tier will cost $10 USD a month and is basically a renaming of PlayStation Plus, while the middle Extra tier will set you back $13 USD and provide access to a library of “hundreds” of games much like Xbox Game Pass. Finally, you’ll have the $16 USD Premium tier, offering everything previously mentioned on top of PlayStation Now’s game streaming support as well as trials and demos for pre-release titles.

For now, Sony has yet to announce anything official, so those on the PlayStation should stay tuned for more updates to come.

Elsewhere in gaming, Rockstar has launched a GTA+ subscription service for GTA Online.
