Lately, LeBron James and Nike have been steadily revealing nostalgic releases of vintage sneakers. As an ode to James’ time in the 2004 Olympics playing for Team USA, the Nike LeBron 2 is making a return to stores later this Fall.

The Nike LeBron 2 “USA,” also known as the “Midnight Navy” colorway is the shoe that James wore during the 2004 Olympics. Featuring a white, midnight navy and varsity crimson color scheme, the shoe is constructed with a navy ballistic mesh base that includes white leather overlays and the varsity crimson accents for contrast. On the collar, the shoe features a laser-etched pattern in navy while the shoe also includes a removable ankle strap and the “King James” logo on the lateral heel. For cushioning, a full-length Zoom Air unit rounds out the base of the shoe.

The Nike LeBron 2 “USA” arrives in select retailers and online at Nike in September 2022.

Elsewhere in footwear, GMBH’s smart-casual faux leather footwear lands on HBX.
