Official Look at the Nike Air Max 1 "La Ville Lumière" for Women

Nike‘s annual Air Max Day holiday is approaching, and the brand has finally announced its three-pronged footwear launch for this year’s festivities. This year, the beloved Air Max 1 is being pushed to the frontlines as it celebrates its 35th anniversary, and one of the colorways involved in the capsule is this “La Ville Lumière” iteration for the ladies.

Through the newly revealed official photos above, we can see all of the shoe’s striking details. Standing out across the upper are the canvas overlays that are positioned on the mid-foot, lower throat, near the ankles and heels as they all come enhanced with an iridescent coating. Tongues and throats have been engulfed with a navy hue and substitute the traditional Nike Air branding for the Air Max Day date. Metallic silver charms also come packaged with the kicks that you can dangle off of the sides, and these come in form of “3.26” and the Air Max 1 silhouette. Moreover, the insoles are printed with “La Ville Lumière Printemps 2022” which translates to “City of Lights Spring 2022” in English.
