Air Max Day 2022 is upon us, and Nike has finally unveiled what it’s been cooking up in celebration of its annual sneaker holiday. This year, the Beaverton sportswear brand is bringing its beloved Air Max 1 to center stage, and for good reason given that the silhouette is celebrating its 35th anniversary. A trio of colorways will be released this year, all of which will be dropped as regional exclusives.

First up on the roster is the Nike Air Max 1 “Blueprint” colorway which is fashioned with a crisp white and baby blue color scheme, and comes styled with gridded patterns atop the medial Swooshes and the tongues. Next in line is the ladies-exclusive Air Max 1 “La Ville-Lumière” — or “City of Lights” in English. This variation is styled with a simple white and navy color scheme and comes bolstered with mid-foot overlays that shine with a subtle iridescence. This pair also comes packaged with metallic silver charms molded to the “3.26” Air Max Day date and the actual silhouette of the shoe. Last in line is the Air Max 1 “Wabisabi” which is done up with exposed stitchings, earthy tones and premium leather fabric.

Be on the lookout for the “Blueprint” to drop in North America while the “La Ville-Lumière” releases is Europe and the “Wabisabi” launches in Latin America on March 26.

Elsewhere in footwear, Bo Jackson’s Air Trainer SC “Auburn” is making a comeback.
