New Balance's 2002R Looks Tasty in "Sweet Caramel" Colorway
Decorated with “Rain Cloud” and 3M touches.

New Balance‘s 2002R is quickly becoming a favorite among the fans of the brand’s retro-infused styles, and now a new colorway dubbed “Sweet Caramel/Rain Cloud” has dropped.
“Sweet Caramel” suede makes up the majority of the sneaker, sitting atop of the 2002R’s “Rain Cloud”-hued mesh base that’s strategically cut-out on the front and rear quarters and toe box for a retro aesthetic. Smooth suede in the gray-toned color then works areas such as the vamp and toe box, as well as the heel, to give the shoe further definition and a backdrop for elements such as the 2002R branding on the lateral rear quarter.
If you think this is a safe colorway, fear not as New Balance continues to bring its edge to the pair. Here, the “N” emblem and the heel tab have been decked in 3M reflective gear, meaning they shine under bright lights, while continuing the gray tones is the “N” embroidered vamp piece, the sock liner, and the ABZORB plugs on the sole unit. White laces threaded through white top eyelets and “new balance running” branding on a roundel on the tongue round out the classicly-inspired pair.
New Balance’s 2002R “Sweet Caramel/Rain Cloud” can be seen above and bought from HBX now for $158 USD.
In other news, Packer has dropped an exclusive Reebok DMX Trail Shadow colorway.
