Following its Spring/Summer 2022 showing, Miu Miu essentially overtook the fashion world with its range of midriff-bearing wares. Adored by fashion fanatics all around the world, the Y2K-reminiscent looks have become a mainstay on magazine covers and in editorials.

Ahead of Miu Miu’s Fall/Winter 2022 Ready-to-Wear collection presentation, many were wondering what the Italian high fashion would offer as a follow-up. The audience in attendance was treated to shortened tops and micro-length skirts and trousers that continued the trend, this time with a tinge of sporty flair. But it was the appearance of menswear outfits on the runway that caught the attention of viewers.

Launched back in 1999, Miu Miu’s menswear had a strong run up until 2008, when Creative Director Miuccia Prada decided to end the men’s line. Now after almost 13 years, Miuccia Prada has decided to bring back Miu Miu menswear with a prevailing genderfluid approach. At the moment, the menswear included in the FW22 Ready-to-Wear collection is expected to just serve as a capsule for the season. Though it is not impossible that Miu Miu could be gearing up for the full revival of its menswear line.

Check out the presentation in full below and catch the menswear looks from Miu Miu’s FW22 Ready-to-Wear collection above.
