HYPETALKS Will Cover Community Building in Web3 with NFT Collective Azuki
Tune in this Tuesday, March 15, at 8 p.m. ET.
Next Tuesday, March 15, HYPETALKS will tap Zagabond and Demna of the NFT collective Azuki to discuss building an engaged and dedicated community in Web3. Moderated by Web3 Managing Editor Rosie Perper, the panel will tackle questions of establishing a unique online brand and fostering a devoted virtual community in Web3.
Launched in August 2021 by an anonymous group of four people, Azuki bills itself as a community of individuals intent on disrupting Web3 culture. The vision of the project is to cultivate the largest decentralized brand for the metaverse that’s also owned by its own community members.
“We are a community of individuals who aren’t afraid to push the boundaries, challenge the status quo, and communicate boldly,” Azuki’s manifesto reads. “We’re making an impact on web3 culture.”
With over 10,000 NFT anime-style avatars and a current floor price of 9.45 ETH (approximately $25,000 USD), Azuki has thrived off a framework of prioritizing its community above all else. Guided by the rebellious nature of decentralization in today’s webspace, it refers to its community as the “skaters of the internet.”
The creators behind the project have plans to expand Azuki beyond NFTs and continuously engage its community through exclusive streetwear collabs, NFT drops, live events and more.
Join in on HYPETALKS: Community Building in Web3 with Azuki’s founders at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 15, via HYPEBEAST on Twitter Spaces.
