Oi Polloi Revisits Mephisto’s Rainbow Silhouette For SS22
Building on last year’s debut collaboration.
Oi Polloi and Mephisto have followed up last year’s debut footwear collaboration by revisiting the French label’s Rainbow silhouette for Spring/Summer 2022.
The Manchester retailer — which debuted its own sportswear line towards the end of last year — has once again reimagined Mephisto’s modest Rainbow silhouette, this time in an autumnal shade of “Loden” green.
Sat atop the a shock-reducing Soft-Air sole, the Rainbow manages to find the perfect balance between sneakers and hiking boots thanks to its casual look, but premium craft. A plush suede upper is decorated with tonal stitching and is accompanied by a padded tongue and cushioned heel.
Rounded out with a co-branded tag — and accompanied by the below short-film — the Oi Polloi x Rainbow “Loden” is set to drop on the Oi Polloi webstore on March 11, 10:00am (GMT), retailing at £205 (approximately $270 USD).
