Craig Green Presents His Sixth Installment of the MONCLER GENIUS Project
Highlighting elemental and multi-functional fashion items.
MONCLER’s GENIUS project continues to push the envelope forward in fashion, teaming again with studied designer Craig Green.
For Spring/Summer 2022, Green presents his sixth collection for the MONCLER brand, experimenting with a “lighter side” of functionality. Inspired by nature and a multi-useful approach to clothing, his new iteration includes full-body outerwear that seemingly transforms into wearable lifestyle attachments – i.e., an inflatable chair or a water rafter – alongside recycled nylon parkas and quilted jackets, wide-legged trousers, sweatshirts, and organic cotton T-shirts.
The brightly-hued pink, blue, green, and orange tent-like outerwear constructions have large funnel neck collars and symbolic circle-and-square nautical detailing on the front and back.
Matching the brand’s elemental and adventurous aesthetic, Green has also designed bucket hats and packable backpacks for the collection.
