Coachella on Friday announced that Cactus Plant Flea Market will have a “first-of-its-kind artist residency” at this year’s festival.

The industry-leading music festival shared the news on Instagram with an image of a billboard in Los Angeles donning the Coachella name in a black, sketch-like font alongside Cactus Plant Flea Market’s iconography and a simplistic rainbow design.

“Cactus Plant Flea Market is set for a first-of-its-kind artist residency at Coachella 2022,” the caption reads.

Though there is currently limited information on what the residency will entail, Coachella promises that “more from this collaboration will debut ahead of the show and on-site in the desert.”

Cactus Plant Flea Market’s upcoming Coachella installation will follow the imprint’s 2019 collaboration with Kid Cudi at the festival, which featured a series of T-shirts and hoodies boasting typography of three Cudder tracks — ”ILLusions,” “Baptized in Fire” and “Swim in the Light” — alongside the festival’s details.

This year’s Coachella is scheduled to take place on April 15 to April 17 and April 22 to April 24 in Indio, California. Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Kanye West are headlining the event, alongside a full lineup that sees Lil Baby, Daniel Caesar, Big Sean, Snoh Aalegra, Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, Doja Cat and more take the stage.

Stay tuned for more information on Cactus Plant Flea Market’s collaboration with the festival.
