Bear Grylls and Luminox Collaborate on 'Rule of 3' Survival Watch
With case and strap made from recycled ocean plastic.

Luminox and survival expert Bear Grylls have rolled out their second collaboration in the form of a watch using recycled ocean plastics.
The 2022 Ro3 (Rule of 3) #tide 3720 features a semi translucent 45mm case and strap made of recycled ocean plastic from Swiss company #tide.
A removable keeper on the strap lists the Rule of 3 for use in survival situations; three minutes without air, three hours without shelter, three days without water and three weeks without food.
“Whether you are an adventurist or just an enthusiast, understanding this rule reminds us to be smart about the time we have and to be humble,” says Grylls. “I am proud of the new watch and the case material which will result in less plastic in our oceans.”
The quartz watch is water resistant to 200m and features Luminox’s micro gas tube-based Light Technology, that is guaranteed to illuminate the watch for 25 years.
The Ro3 #tide 3720’s textured dial features Grylls’ “Never Give up” logo at the nine o’clock position opposite an oversized “3” numeral while either black or orange straps are available. The Ro3 #tide 3720 is available now via Luminox, priced $495 USD.
