Maluma Drops New “Royalty” Fragrance Collection
Marking his first foray with four signature scents.
Global superstar, Maluma, continues to ride a wave of accomplishments in 2022, announcing his new Royalty by Maluma “King and Queen” fragrance collection.
With his first range of fragrances, the singer-songwriter has created a group of sensual scents for both men and women, highlighting a different gemstone for each offering. Out of the four-piece luxury set, there are two scents for men – “Onyx” and “Garnet” – and two scents for women – “Jade” and “Amethyst.”
Inspired by childhood memories of wearing his father’s colognes, the Onyx Eau de parfum has notes of cardamom, pear and bergamot, while the Garnet scent has aromatic lavender and baie rose. The women’s fragrances are both Eau de parfum’s and contain blackcurrant, jasmine and tangerine, respectively.
Speaking to the origin of the new fragrance collection, Maluma exclusively tells HYPEBEAST:
“This announcement is exciting to me because it’s a new journey for me. I have a great amount of knowledge about the music business, but to learn as a young entrepreneur new businesses and industries is a chance for growth.”
“For me, fragrance is another form of self-expressing who you are and what mood you are in. This will share another piece of me as Juan Luis, businessman, and Maluma, a creator. It was also important to me that my first fragrance collection was fluid and gave more than one or two options of fragrances. I look forward to creating more collections this year with concepts that will share more of who I am and what I represent as a Latino,” he adds.
Each fragrance individually measures 30 ML, one fluid ounce bottle, and retails for $45 USD.
