Bad Bunny‘s collaboration with adidas Originals continues to evolve, and now two colorways of the anticipated Response CL are set to release. Coming in “Yellow/Core Black/Bold Orange” and the previously-seen “Cream White/Off-White/Sand” iteration, the collaborative style takes after the retroed re-release that adidas brought back in 2020 and gives it the quintessential Bad Bunny twist.

As a result, familiar “El Ojo” and ice cream references adorn the entire shoe, notably adding details on the upper that bleed onto the sole unit in a dripping manner. The mesh base is overlayed with wavy panels made from synthetic leather-effect materials, layered and stacked on one another for a three-dimensional finish, while silver-toned Three Stripes intersect the waviness with solid blocks of branding across both colorways.

Elsewhere, we find a melting heart embroidered onto the lateral front-quarter toe cap, more embroidery on the heel counter, and Bad Bunny’s eye motif on the heel as well. Bringing in the retro vibe alongside the shape of the shoe itself is the sole unit, which is equipped with adiWear and adiPRENE technology for long-lasting comfort and support. This is echoed by the adidas EQT logo on the tongue, harking back to a time when these shoes were frequently embedded with the aforementioned tech.

Bad Bunny’s adidas Originals Response CL in “Yellow/Core Black/Bold Orange” and “Cream White/Off-White/Sand” can be seen above and bought from the adidas CONFIRMED app on March 10 at 3 p.m. GMT (10 a.m. EST). The pairs cost $160 USD each, and the “Yellow” iteration is exclusive to North America, Latin America, and Puerto Rico.

In other news, two tonal colorways of the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle are releasing imminently.
