afterbase® has re-teamed with VERDY and his Wasted Youth men’s label for a third installation of its joint apparel collaboration.
For the first time since 2020, the two establishments have joined forces on designing a range of items that include stadium jackets, hoodies and T-shirts. Standout pieces include the black-and-white “AB x WY” mixed-fabric varsity jacket, an acid green hoodie with a graphic floral motif, logo embossed tees and five-panel caps.
For the collection, VERDY oversaw the production of design items, while photographer Zhamak Fullad handled the look book imagery that reflects American youth culture – highlighting skate life, music and graffiti.
The collection will drop on February 27, and will be available online at “VERDY’s Gift Shop,” and at the Shibuya PARCO pop-up shop.
Meanwhile, Glenn Martens’ Diesel FW22 runway made a case for editorial denim.
