CONVERSE Japan Collaborates with Brand beautiful people on New “All STAR 100” Sneaker
Adding high quality GORE-TEX fabric to the design mix.
CONVERSE Japan has tapped the unconventional Japanese brand beautiful people for a new collaboration to transform its popular All Star sneaker.
Noted for its use of high quality textiles and advanced design techniques, beautiful people will update the famed Converse shoe with GORE-TEX fabric. The new hi-top model comprises a solid black colorway for its upper section, and a traditional Converse white rubber midsole along with a thick ridged outsole.
The inner ankle area contains a contrasting white zipper that allows for easy fit and no-maintenance laces. Additionally, the sneaker will be renamed to “All STAR 100 GORE-TEX CHUNK Z HI” for the collab.
The new “All STAR 100” is available for pre-order now on beautiful people’s website, and will officially drop on March 12 at select retailers in Japan – including Aoyama in Minato-ku, Tokyo, and Shibuya PARCO in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
