Samsøe Samsøe Takes Notes From Grunge and Rave Styles For FW22
A nod to the youth culture of London throughout the ‘90s.

For Fall/Winter 2022, Danish label Samsøe Samsøe is celebrating the importance of individuality, inclusiveness and freedom of expression by presenting a collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week which references the youth culture of London throughout the ‘90s.
Drawing inspiration from the subcultures that defined the era, most notably grunge and rave, FW21 boasts loose shapes and over-exaggerated silhouettes, like bomber and puffer jackets, as well as oversized cardigans, printed flecees and half-zips.
Daring pops of “Neon Yellow”, “Grass Green” and “Cobalt Blue” adorn jacquards, boiled wool, rough surfaces and chunky cable knits, alongside more sobering tones of “Rich Brown”, “Dirty Beige”, black and green.

In related news, Samsøe Samsøe also recently unveiled its SS22 collection that saw it travel back to the 1970s and 1980s for inspiration.
