Places+Faces Launch 'POLAROIDS' Hardcover Book
An image archive taken between 2014 and 2021.

Since its inception, Places+Faces has always revolved around its iconic 35mm film portraits, capturing and connecting industry movers across different realms, in different cities around the world. While Imran Ciesay and Solomon Boyede, known as Ciesay and Soulz, have now expanded their Places+Faces photography blog into a globally recognized apparel brand and event promotion over the past decade, P+F’s latest release is true to its roots, releasing its first 500-edition run of hardcover books featuring never-before-seen polaroids.
The images were captured between 2014 and 2021 using the same camera Andy Warhol used to take his polaroids featuring figures with likes of Quentin Tarantino, A$AP Rocky, Clint419, Iris Law, Skepta, Tyler the Creator, Verdy, and Virgil Abloh, who’s honored with a tribute piece. “It’s a book about friends and the people we meet: people we can pick up the phone to and hang out and have fun together,” Ciesay told Vogue. The exception to the rule is Quentin Tarantino, whose photo portrait will be featured on a limited range of hoodies, T-shirts and totes.
To celebrate the launch, a physical exhibition of the polaroids will take place this weekend at Protein Studios in London, February 19-20.
POLAROIDS by Places+Faces will soon be available for purchase at the brand’s website and at Dover Street Market London. Stay tuned to the P+F Instagram for more updates.
