Matthew M Williams‘ Givenchy first dropped the Monumental Mallow back in September 2021, and now ahead of Valentine’s Day the house has decked its futuristic slip-on in red.
Presented in two takes — shiny or matte — the Monumental Mallow is made entirely from rubber and is quintessentially Williams in style. It’s futuristic and sculptural, serving a single-piece design that’s finished with a squared toe and a raised ridge on the vamp, curvaceous heels, and an equally floaty-shaped side profile.
The sole unit included five sections that stick out on the sides of the shoe and is paired alongside an outsole that uses triangular studs for grip alongside a small Givenchy logo. This logo is also found inside the shoe, embossed into the black lambskin leather insoles.
Givenchy’s Monumental Mallow is both light and comfortable, and is sure to become a statement piece among your footwear collection. The matte iteration is priced at $595 USD while the shiny one comes in at $695 USD, and both can be bought from Givenchy boutiques and its website now.
