Famed streetwear brand BAPE has linked up with Gillette to create an unexpected collaboration the blends the worlds of style and grooming. Combining BAPE’s penchant for delivering grails and Gillette’s expertise in forward-thinking shave products, the new collection features the label’s iconic “camo” print on a series of technologically advanced razors. Corralling the Japanese streetwear powerhouse for this lifestyle effort, the pair successfully designed a stylish product that also delivers a smooth shave.
The hero of the series is the collection’s razor handle, which features a replaceable blade, adding a longstanding staple to any routine. The assortment features complementary accessories such as a magnetic razor stand and travel case, which also feature the unmissable blue print. In addition to the signature “camo,” each piece is marked with dual branding, including the iconic Ape Head icon. The limited-edition drop is satisfyingly housed in coordinating packaging, extending the collaboration’s stylish codes to the unboxing experience.
