Contemporary Japanese brand ATTACHMENT has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2022 collection. This is the debut collection by new designer Mitsuki Enomoto, who revisits the label’s menswear basics and brings his own distinct flair to the signature tailoring.

This season, Enomoto takes inspiration from painter Robert Ryman, who was active in the 1960s. One of his best-known quotes was, “There is never any question of what to paint only how to paint.” Taking into consideration the ethos of the phrase, the new collection focuses on the uncompromising attitude of the production process, highlighting the craftsmanship of each piece. ATTACHMENT continues to expand its staple offerings, personifying the definition of simplicity and understated style.

The collection features a range of sleek raglan coats and blazers as well as sporty bombers and other functional outerwear pieces. The slouchy aesthetic is prevalent in oversized trousers and multi-layered outfits which see monochromatic button-ups and cardigans paired with one another. The angular silhouette is seen through the box-cut jackets while the relaxed figure is emphasized by the oversized leather bomber jacket and utilitarian style overcoats.
