Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes are reportedly “finalizing details” to host the 2022 Oscars.
According to sources, the three comics are the frontrunners for the 94th Academy Awards. Producer Will Packer is supposedly looking into “a three-act structure” that will feature different hosting pairs per hour, and allegedly met with a number of high-profiles names including Jon Hamm of Mad Men, who left the discussion pool over the weekend.
The hosts will officially be named on Good Morning America on Tuesday, and while the reps for Sykes, Schumer and Hall have not commented, Schumer teased on Instagram that she has “Big fun news comin.’”
Elsewhere in entertainment, Simu Liu is joining the cast of Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie’s Barbie film.
