Porsche Enters a Mystical World in "Dream Big" Installation by Chris Labrooy
Currently on display on the beachfront of Pérez Art Museum Miami.
Multifaceted artist Chris Labrooy is recognized globally for his imaginative artistic approach that defies the traditional, having worked with several industry-leading brands, including Apple, Nike, McDonalds, and more.
Taking part in Design Miami 2022, Labrooy teams up with Porsche for his latest installation, titled “Dream Big.” The collaboration forms part of the brand’s “The Art of Dreams” program, launched in 2021, and is sure to keep you in awe. The Scotland-based creative channels his otherworldly imagination into the Porsche 911 Carrera, made to replicate the look of childhood dreams.
The installation is set on the beachfront of the Pérez Art Museum Miami and sees a gigantic yellow figure emerge from the sand aiming to lift the sports car, which in his grasp, looks like a toy model. The artwork is delivered with a playful outlook and urges viewers to chase their dreams no matter the size.
