Take a Behind-the-Scenes Look at Paramount’s ‘Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’
Starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith and more.
Paramount Pictures has given fans a behind-the-scenes preview of its forthcoming action-fantasy title, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the film is based on the iconic tabletop board game of the same name, taking viewers to the familiar land of the Forgotten Realms.
Plans for the movie have been in the works for nearly a decade now. While Warner Bros. was in charge of developing the project at its genesis, the flick later moved to Paramount Pictures. Filming officially began last year in Northern Ireland and Iceland.
In the behind-the-scenes video, viewers see Chris Pine reflect on his starring role as Edgin the Bard,
Dungeons & Dragons is that classic hero’s journey about a ragtag group of misfits,” Pine describes. “You know, we have to fight dragons and evil wizards in order to save the world.”
Pine appears on-screen alongside Michelle Rodriguez’s Holga the Barbarian and Justice Smith’s Simon the Sorcerer. Also comprising the main cast is Regé-Jean Page, Sophia Lillis and Hugh Grant.
