Here's a First Look at the CLOT x Nike Cortez
Continuing the brand’s giant panda references.
After linking with Nike earlier this year for a “FLUX DUNK,” CLOT founder Edison Chen now reveals a new pair of CLOT x Nike Cortez. The offering arrives in a black and white color scheme following other similarly-themed introductions including the special-edition Converse Chuck 70 His and Medicom Toy BE@RBRICKs celebrating the giant panda.
Arriving as Nike nears the end of its 50th Anniversary celebrations for the iconic silhouette, the upcoming Nike Cortez features a distinct horizontal split design as if fitted with one of UGG’s boot guards. The bottom halves of the uppers are covered in matte black while the top section is found in classic white leather. The color split on the Swooshes contrast the overall design and the classic two-tone sole units below are complete with serrated bottoms. In addition to the “Black/White” colorway shown above, two more “Black Varsity Maize” and “Forrest Gump” iterations are also expected to arrive as part of the lineup.
Look for the CLOT x Nike Cortez collaboration to arrive sometime in Spring 2023 for $150 USD.
