Bulgari and Phillips Unveils a Special Edition Octo Finissimo

Bulgari and Phillips have unveiled a special edition Octo Finissimo. In association with Bacs & Russo, the two companies reinterpreted the iconic model in a contemporary design imbued with vintage touches.

Since its conception, the Octo watch has been an embodiment of Bulgari’s luxurious Italian flair without sacrificing the prestige quality of Swiss watchmaking. Running on the BVL 138 Calibre, the new edition celebrates the model with a geometric layout. The small seconds counter has been omitted to let the modernistic and symmetrical case shine, drawing focus on the large numerals marking the six and twelve o’clock direction. The numerals are encircled by sand-blasted titanium dials as well as a chapter ring that sways from black, and gray to bronze depending on the light.

While the design of the Octo represents an iconic signature, the creative process initiated with Aurel Bacs and Alexandre Ghotbi has undoubtedly increased our passion and inspiration tenfold. This watch symbolises the link between Phillips, the world of collectors’ watches, and the design codes of Bulgari, which are resolutely turned towards innovation and the future. We shared an exciting stylistic adventure, which I experienced with great enthusiasm and pleasure.”

Priced at $16,600 USD, the special edition Bulgari x Phillips Octo Finissimo timepiece is available in a limited number of 50 units, exclusively sold at Phillips Watches’ official website.
