Porsche Design unveiled its Chronograph 1 – 911 Dakar and 911 Dakar Rallye Design Edition watches, in tandem with the premiere of its new Porsche 911 Dakar sports car.

Strictly exclusive to owners of the Porsche 911 Dakar, the timepieces are the world’s first chronographs that come in a titanium carbide case. Equipped with WERK 01.240 with flyback function, the watch boasts a power reserve of 48 hours and a frequency of 4Hz with COSC-certified movement. The 42.7mm titanium carbide case provides durability and scratch resistance, while also weighing light in comparison to traditional titanium builds.

Presented in a sleek black, the silhouette of the watch echos the ruggedness of the Porsche 911 Dakar, while accents of gold, blue, white, and red correspond to the vehicle’s color schemes. The caseback features a winding rotor that directly references the rims of the 911 Dakar, which is available in a black or white option.

Both editions of the timepiece are priced at $14,500 USD via Porsche Design. For more information, head to Porsche Design’s official website.
