On Keeps Things Moving With Its New Cloudaway "Smoky Quartz" Sneaker
The limited-edition running shoe features CloudTec technology and Zero Gravity foam fabrications.
Hot on the heels of its recently-dropped “Lumos” collection — which was packed with technical running garments — Swiss sportswear brand On has just presented a new limited-edition running shoe in the form of the Cloudaway “Smoky Quartz.”
Traditionally, On is best known for supplying innovative and functional running designs that strive to break boundaries on how trouble-free and smooth running can be. This was best seen with the brand’s first-ever carbon emission shoe which was crafted with a new foam material called CleanCloud TM that uses carbon emissions as its raw material.
Now, this new Cloudaway “Smoky Quartz” sneaker is the brand’s latest forward-thinking creation. Coming as part of On’s “Hidden Gems” collection, the sneaker is crated with an assemblage of recycled materials, while it also features a re-engineered heel hold. Additionally, the shoe features CloudTec technology which is partnered with Zero Gravity foam fabrications to create a smooth rolling motion when traveling at high speeds.
A synthetic suede mudguard has been introduced to protect the wearer’s ankles and this is matched with a durable and ultra-lightweight mesh upper that’s constructed using extra recycled materials along with single toggle lacing for a breathable and secure fit.
