There are only several weeks left to get through of 2022, so Nike is making sure to carve out room to release more Air Max 1 colorways so it can maximize its 35th anniversary celebration. After recently getting unveiled in a luxe “Burgundy Crush” palette, the Nike Sportswear model is now furthering along its fall-friendly range with a brand new “Ugly Duckling” makeup that take on a “Pecan/Yellow Ochre” motif.

While its moniker suggests a nod to the Swoosh’s Dunk Low “Ugly Duckling” Pack that debuted in 2001, its visual presentation is bereft of any hues that are similar to those kicks. Instead, it takes on a fall-appropriate arrangement as “Pecan” hits are applied to the quarter panels and heel overlays while “Baroque Brown” hits rest adjacent along the tongues, toe boxes and collars. “Yellow Ochre” accents are then drizzled over the Swooshes, laces, tongue branding and duck silhouettes, the latter of which are embroidered into the heel to replace the usual Nike branding. To round everything off, the sneakers are prepared with beige mudguards and angelic Swooshes.

Retailers like Asphalt Gold are set to release these come November 22 for €159 (approx. $164 USD).
