Back in 2019, Leica collaborated with Hodinkee to release the Leica M10-P “Ghost Edition.” Following the success of the model, the two have once again joined forces for another collab featuring two variants of the Leica Q2 model— the Leica Q2 “Ghost” by HODINKEE, and the Q2 “Ghost” Set by Hodinkee.

The Leica Q2 “Ghost” by Hodinkee pays tribute to the brand’s iconic “Ghost Bezel” diving watch with a timeless yet elegant design. Drawing inspiration from the watch’s rare gray bezel, the camera is dressed in gray leather made from fine, textured cowhide, while the top cover and lens distinguish from the body in a lighter gray. The iconic red Leica logo is also omitted to complement the seamless and discreet design of the model. Similar to the M10-P “Ghost Edition, ” the Q2 “Ghost” comes with a carrying strap that’s round-woven from gray yarn, complete with a stable key ring binding.

The Q2 “Ghost” Set on the other hand comes in a limited batch. What differentiates it from the aforementioned variant is its top cover, which now comes imprinted with Leica lettering, as well as two additional engravings in the display glass that indicates its batch number to highlight exclusivity. On top of that, the set is fitted with a silver thumb rest, and matching carrying strap along with authenticity certification.

Due to release globally starting December 8 across Leica stores and online, the Leica Q2 “Ghost” by Hodinkee is priced at $5,795 USD. While the Q2 “Ghost” Set by Hodinkee is released exclusively on Hodinkee’s official website for $5,995 USD.
