Take a Closer Look at KENZO's Boke Flower Holiday Collection
Drawing inspiration from family adventure movies in the ‘80s.
KENZO has unveiled its holiday collection, which features the Boke Flower motif across a plethora of apparel and accessories.
Aside from the KENZO Tiger motif, the Boke Flower is one of the brand’s most emblematic graphics. For the holiday season this year, NIGO compiled a vibrant collection led by the iconic Boke Flower motif in a gold rendition and across a festive color palette. The selection, as well as the campaign imagery, draws inspiration from family adventure movies in the ‘80s, which the collection elaborates in a fun, spirited mood that promotes a sense of togetherness. Pieces in the collection are imbued with macro logos, all-over prints, and varsity aesthetics, as NIGO continues to share his streetwear vision with the label.
The Boke line comprises cozy, Christmas sweatshirts, sweaters, and cardigans emblazoned with Boke Flowers motifs in various sizes and patterns. Aside from this, the collection also features plenty of outerwear, from parkas, and varsity jackets to puffer jackets in an array of colors, prints and embellishments. On the accessories front, the collection spans an extensive range of leather belts, bags, badges, sneakers, and winter essentials such as woolen hats, scarves, gloves, and socks, all rendered in KENZO’s hallmarked logos, graphic prints, and playful color schemes.
