Union and Wasted Youth Collab Celebrates New Union Osaka Store
A limited capsule featuring Union’s Frontman logo.
Four years after opening its Tokyo Chapter Store, its first location in Japan, Union is now opening a new store in the vibrant city of Osaka. To celebrate the occasion, Union taps VERDY‘s label Wasted Youth for a limited-edition capsule exclusive to the store. VERDY, who comes off collaborations with Post Malone and PSG, also happens to be an Osaka native who was heavily inspired by youth and skate culture for his works.
For the upcoming series, Union’s ambiguous Frontman logo revived last year for the brand’s 30th anniversary is found across a range of light blue tees and grey cordless hoodies with custom hand-drawn co-branding featured above the chest. Shot in Osaka, the visuals are modeled by Wasted Youth team riders Issei Mori and Ren Suematsu with Taro Sakai as the lookbook photographer.
“I designed [the capsule] while remembering the feelings I had when I lived in Osaka,” writes VERDY.
The Wasted Youth x Union collection will be available at Union Osaka Saturday, October 8.
