Rick Owens Introduces "BABYGEO" Collection
The designer was inspired by all of the births around him.
After introducing Geobasket sneakers in 2021, designer Rick Owens is now introducing a full line dedicated to toddlers and kids. Dubbed “BABYGEO,” the collection is comprised of children’s sized takes on the eponymous label’s Fall/Winter 2022 “STROBE” collection.
Rick Owens reveals that he created the line following the many recent births by his relatives and OWENSCORP employees around him. The statement goes on to highlight how his label has always been dedicated to “meeting our personal needs in the most harmonious way possible.” “Making things for our babies is our new chapter.
Leading the “BABYGEO” offerings are Flight Bomber Jackets, Hooded Liner, Mountain Hoodie, Strobe Pod Shorts, and Prisoner Sweatpants. Other apparel styles include the Short Level Tee, Basic Rib Tank, Leggings, Beanie, and Socks, all rendered in classic black and beige, along with the palette of striking FW22 colors. Rounding up the release are Geobasket and low-cut Ramones sneakers that continue the toddler’s and kids’ size offering.
