Playboi Carti Drops Narcissist Cut & Sew Collection
The debut release from the ‘Whole Lotta Red’ rapper’s clothing line.
After a teased drop last year, fans have been patiently awaiting the release of Playboi Carti‘s Narcissist album. Earlier this week, the Whole Lotta Red rapper launched a countdown timer on the website for his Opium record label. Initially believed to be for the album, the expiry of the countdown saw the drop of the debut collection of Playboi Carti’s “Narcissist” clothing line.
The inaugural release is comprised of a cropped logo bomber jacket, four mug-shot hoodies, a sleeveless tee and tank top in black and white, and two all-over print hats. Aside from the prison mug-shot prints, graphic displays are inspired by Norwegian Black Metal motifs, rendered in white, green and red.
Made in America, the entire collection was designed by Carti and is made with quality materials. The comber jacket utilizes 70z nylon, the hoodie is constructed of heavyweight 14oz French terry, 15S ringspun jersey is used on the sleeveless tee, and a domestically made 1×1 Rib ñall knit makes up the tank top.
Priced between $479 and $3,147 USD, Playboi Carti’s debut Narcissist Cut & Sew collection is available now on the Opium website.
