Nike Gets in the Lovey Dovey Spirit With This Air Trainer 1 "Valentine's Day" Colorway
Shaggy brown overlays likely represent the chocolate candy that’s often consumed during the February holiday.
There are still several holidays to get through before 2022 comes to a close, but Nike already has its eyes set on what to deliver for its various festivities in 2023. And one of the offerings is this Air Trainer 1 “Valentine’s Day” colorway that sports soft accents reflective of the annual love-inducing celebration.
The kicks’ upper build is formed with a trio of hues. Smooth leather backdrops are designed with a creamy paint job while shaggy suede overlays that land across the toe tips, quarter panels and lower heels and leather forefoot overlays are prepared with a chocolate brown hue. This element likely speaks to chocolate candy — a common treat that lovers indulge in for the annual February commemoration. To further stress its lovey-dovey motif, the Swoosh design team sprinkles notes of dusty pinks to the Swooshes, Nike branding on the forefoot straps, eyelets and embroidered Air hits on the lower heel. Midsole pieces are designed with crisp white backdrops and come assembled with more creamy accents atop the molds.
No official release information has been announced by Nike yet, but you will likely see these hit the shelves in the weeks leading up to February 14.
