As the iconic Street Fighter game celebrates its 35th anniversary, video game developer Capcom has created a number of commemorative offerings for fans including a CASETiFY collection, a graphic tee capsule with INITIAL Gentleman, and a special-edition Nike Air Force 1 in honor of one of the most iconic Street Fighter showdowns of all time.
For its latest offering, Capcom reworks Reebok‘s 1992 Shaq Attaq silhouette, revisiting a bygone era right when Shaquille O’Neal was drafted first by the Orlando Magic. The upcoming pairs arrive in a mix of suede, leather, and mesh decorated in “Black,” “Dark Sable,” and “Luxe Blue” hues. Pump units on the triangular tongue display “Street Fighter Champion Edition” logos while fabric tags are secured along the sides. Rounding out the look are elephant print inner lining, mismatched graphic insoles, stylized Shaq and vector logos on the heel, and tri-tone sole units featuring a carbon fiber midfoot plate.
The Capcom x Reebok Shaq Attaq “Street Fighter” is scheduled for an October 29 release via Reebok and select retailers for $180 USD.
Elsewhere in footwear, Nike’s Air Force 1 Mule returns.
